I am not really a fan of department store cafe’s or chain restaurants, I usually try and avoid them. However in the culinary wasteland around Victoria station there is not a huge amount of choice. Cafe Zest is located inside the House of Frazer/Army and Navy department store. It is above average for this type of venue. The quality of the food is good and the staff are professional. It is less busy and more comfortable than the Cafe Nero in the basement, there is also a small section with armchairs that are ideal if you just want coffee and cake or Afternoon Tea. The free O2 Wi-Fi is also a selling point. noexpert.co.uk
