This was a nice surprise both when it comes to prices and quality of food. We came here simply because it was close to our hotel and we couldn’t be bothered with looking any further. The servings were big enough to fill us for the next few hours of sightseeing and the food was really nice and hot which was a big improvement compared to Garfunkel’s. 😉 Very pleasant service although they did have some problem with printing receipts.

Perfectly placed next to Victoria Street bus station, this pizza joint offers a fantastic atmosphere with jazz music that creates an eccentric and energetic vibe. One of the most impressive features about this restaurant is the speed of its service. Two courses were served in less than 35 minutes. It also happens to be great value for money. The pizza was good, but not the best I’ve ever eaten. This place is a safe bet if what you’re looking for is a quick, enjoyable and relatively cheap meal.
Been to da Scalzo five times now and always the same warm welcome, good service and interesting, well cooked food.Two of our party arrived an hour early and staff were happy for us to take our table and have a drink whilst we waited. Nice to be in a quiet atmosphere so you don’t have to shout to chat. The food was as good as ever, imaginative dishes, well presented and served, and good value.Highly recommended
What a nice place, opposite Victoria coach station you don’t expect to find such a good Italian restaurant. Great service from the minute we walked in, food was good, nice choice of wines too. We were not made to rush which was good, staff very attentive but not overly. Will definitely recommend to friends.
