Good friendly Italian. While I agree with another poster about the carbonara, I think the veal saltimboca was even better. We ate here twice during our visit, and both times we had friendly, attentive service to go along with the good food. Try to hit it between the pre- & post-theater crowds.

Best meal in town!. I have to say that I have tried a lot of good restaurants in London, but nothing beats the service, feel-good factor, food, wine and size of portions like Il Posto’s. You are always greeted at the door as a friend and you can count on the service being honest and prompt.Reccommendations from my side are the Calzone alla sorientina or the Medaglioni de manzo a Il Posto. They never fail.Enjoy
