Atmosphere was great, staff very courteous but the food (aside from the starters which were great) was terrible and ultimately thats what a restaurant is about. Among other food, Our orders included the Milanese santini, their signature dish, and the dove, their most expensive one, both were lacking, especially the santini which quite possibly was the worst thing I had, didnt taste different from a toasted bread at all, the portion sizes of all the dishes were very small as well. Ultimately, I had to grab a sandwich off the street after spending about 50 pounds each there.

I went twice, i liked the food when i first went, so the sevond time i went with my friends and the minute i entered the door the waitress is very rude to me even though i wad talking to another gentleman. I left the restaurant because of the vulgar waitress.

There is no doubting that if you are a fan of Italian and fancy some freshly made pasta and home made bread, then this is the place for you. The atmosphere is sophisticated, the service, friendly and efficient. So why have I only given this a rating of 3.5? Well, basically I think the food is a bit overpriced. You should expect high prices in Belgravia anyway, but even the starters along for 15 a pop. This is a very good restaurant. That is, if you’re willing to splash the cash. I would recommend this place, but only for a special occasion.

The fussili with veal Ragu was outstanding as well as the pasta fajol soup

Best carbonara in town. Choose for a special occasion- great Italian wine selection.

We ate there last week using the pre theatre 3 course menu for 25 per head. Ecellent choice, food was superb and the staff were first class. Will definitely return and recommend to friends it made the whole occasion very special.
