Foi a primeira vez que comi fish and chips e apesar de todas as crticas que ouvi de amigos, gostei muito. Peixe muito saboroso, hmido e crosta crocante. O prato de frango cozinhado lentamente como anunciavam que deixou muito, mas muito a desejar. Eram apenas bifes de frango passados em manteiga numa frigideira com batatas fritas. O hmus estava divinal, mesmo muito bem feito e temperado. Bem localizado e boa relao qualidade/preo. Quanto ao atendimento… bem, notou-se claramente a diferena de tratamento o que me fez perder a vontade de pedir mais coisas, paguei e sa.

On our trip to London we passed by the takeaway cafe and the owner gave us a huge portion of fish and chips. Fish was so fresh and flaky and fried to a golden crisp and a generous amount of fries. I have never had fish and chips like this. We back for dinner at the restaurant a few days later. The portions are good, prices reasonable, and the staff are very friendly and welcome. They treat you like family. I would definitely visit again next time we are back in the city and recommend to others.
This is a good place to try out that old British classic: fish and chips in a formal restaurant setting. The fried cod was moist and flaky and the chips nice and crisp. It was a bit pricey compared to the same dish at most pubs, but that is justified considering the quality of service.
Quite awful to be honest. Staff with no manners speaking extra loud among themselves, slow service and food which I really expected to be good considering this place is opened since 1965 was a total let down. Won’t be returning nor advising for anyone to go.
Great take-away fish & chips.
