Found The Buckingham Arms when it was needed the most. It’s like getting a WC when yoi urgently want to go. And didn’t think twice about going in. This old pub retains its past with its oak panelling, a curved bar, beers and ale on tap, handsome wine list and tasty pub eats.The beer battered haddock with mushy peas went down well with my wife and sister; while I wolved down an Aberdeen angus called British Prime Cheeae Burger, done the way I wanted (medium well). This burger removed memories of what I had the night before in a Spanish pub in Russell Street. Enjoyed my pint of London Gold.
