The location is great and one of the few bigger cafes, the atmosphere is casual and comfortable with great decor. The cappuccinos came to the table cold and in the wrong size. We ordered a large and they brought a regular. When we noted this it seemed to be a big fuss to solve it and the manager questioned whether we actually ordered a large. The bill was incorrect with items not rung and others on. Service was substandard and food poor. A pity for a place with great potential.
We arrived at Buckingham Palace earlier than expected so we decided to take a stroll and look for a place to have coffee and a light snack. The place was moderately busy and the decor and vibe was what encouraged us to try The Royal Quarter.We were rather disappointed with the quality of the food. My sister’s smoked salmon sandwich was heavily seasoned where as my egg mayonnaise sandwich needed a nice pinch of salt. Beverage wise, my espresso was nicely made and I polished it off with a bottle of sparkling water. Service was friendly and efficient and we were not rushed to settle the bill as we waited for the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. mydiningjourney.wordpress.com
Very slow service. Somebody ordered for english breakfast and he was informed after 15 mins that its not available. Bland food. Miss it.
