The place does not have anything to hold one or make anyone come back for! We ordered various dishes and everything is barely palatable. In fact, the most delicious or top of the menu is just passable. The menu is short and has nothing interesting either. Slug and Lettuce was tasteless! Avoid!
I guess I went in on one of the best days . Everything that we ordered was half the price and that was the best part of the day. I checked with the staff too and they confirmed that the deal is valid. We had lasagne, steak pie and fish pie. My fish pie was one of the best I have tried, it was excellent. This place was beyond my expectations.
Came here for a quick Business Lunch here. The place has a Slug and Lettuce approach. To begin with staff were attentive and amicable and service prompt. On the upside they have significant and diverse food choices and they give substantial information about nutritional values. Ordered Fish, chips and a pie. On the downside a little odd whiff in air and many shifted to other tables. Not a location for romantic dates, keep that in mind!
Its just an average place. The food and service are both mediocre. The flavours of almost all the dishes i ordered were quite bland. It took the waiters quite some time to get the food on our table. The beer here is good, though it has nothing to do with the establishment’s reputation.
My experience with this place has not been the best. I dined with two colleagues and the main eating area was reserved with no one in sight. The staff took a long time to take our order and drinks took even longer to come. The food took over thirty minutes to arrive and we were already pressed for time. The salad was served on a hot plate and even after requesting a change, the same mistake was repeated. My burger was overcooked and the filling was dry. We placed a complaint with the manager, who was unapologetic. I would definitely not be visiting again and suggest the same to anybody looking for a decent meal.
The food definitely needs to be praised for it’s taste. We ordered a steak, chicken burger, chicken korma and desserts. All of it was delicious and the desserts scrumptious. The service was really good with great staff on board, making the meal very enjoyable. The bill was affordable and was priced right!
Although we live nearby this place, we never tried it because of its rather repulsive name but anyhow we did give it a try and it was not disappointing. On the contrary, it was a good experience as the food was good, the staff was nice and friendly and the interior was also pretty decent. All in all it is a good option to try this place if you are in the area.
