Not a good experience since change in management, weekend set menu / free menu works out more expensive than weekdays menu. The deposit for large groups is a bit dubious,and nothing displayed on website about weekend menu.
We had a meal last night at Abshar. The kebabs were of poor quality and pretty much tasteless. The only good item was the yoghurt drink. Will not visit again.
Love the Iranian food at Abshar. All the traditional dishes beautifully and authentically cooked. Will continue to eat there many many times! It’s loved by Iranians and others alike.
Delicious dinner – very tasty Baba ganoush and chicken kebab for starter followed by superb lamb shank pilaf. Staff so welcoming. Definitely the best restaurant in South Croydon.
