I tried the delivery service, and besides their arriving 15 minutes before requested, and as such I was not home, their customer service was terrible. I don’t know what their food tastes like as now I am still hungry, but fortunately there are plenty other places out there.
On weekends of sunshine being cooped up cooking in a kitchen is almost unfathomable. It is time best spent sun basking, pimms slurping, park picnicking and most definitely, ordering in. Cooking? No sir-ey, not today I say! After a last night and what can be describe only as a lethal dose of killer vodka martinis, at Amuse Bouche (followed by some Michael Jackson dance movesat Nam Long) I spent the day doing what a hungover chef does best. Lying horizontal, soaking up scared sun rays, trying not to move a muscle. With my sunnies sandwiched on my face and bottle of Vitacocos finest, by 6pm I was back to my spritely self.At times when we are faced with a fridge, bare as a babies bottom, we have two options. To admit defeat and take to the cereal box, or spoil ourselves rotten by ordering something filthy, delicious and oh so tasty. What did I chose today I think you know the answer to that. A couple of the finest burgers in south west London, from Chosen Bun.Oh and they just happen to do delivery Well how thoughtful of them! Fred went for a Shoveman : caramelised onions, pickle, garlic sauce, smoked bacon, shove man sauce and a hunk of cheddar and a I opted for a regular Patty: double bacon, pickle and cheese in a gluten free bun. Toasted crunchy and absolutely bang on delicious!Oh Chosen Bun, you spoil me so.Let me break it down. I clasped it in my hand, ripped it with my teeth and covered myself in its ketchup. It was juicy, tender and perfectly pink I could go on. Each mouthful broken only by the slurp of a sweet vanillery oreo milkshake.Let not forget the pudding king to follow. Dare I say one of the finest, gooey-est and richest door-stop of a brownies that I have had the pleasure of enjoying in a fair while. I think I might be in need of the recipe. All of this joy and no washing up. How else should one spend a sunday night. If its any better than this, tell me please!A very happy little chef! tessward.com
Chosen Bun provide a rare service that you would have thought was more widespread – burger home delivery. Apparently it is not as easy as it sounds so to that end the clever Chosen Bun chaps have designed and patented their own packaging to get the burger of your choice to you in the best state possible. No soggy buns or messy presentation here only premium burgers with a quirky twist.I ordered the Stoveman with ‘Belgians’ (chips to you and me) and onion rings. The bun is brioche and not only tastes light and fresh but doesn’t fall apart when you pick it up. The burger itself is cooked medium rare unless otherwse stated and is clearly a quality piece of meat with a delightfully pink hue. The Stoveman comes with cheddar cheese, bacon, pickles, lettuce and Stoveman sauce – everything works in perfect harmony together except the sauce which doesn’t really taste of anything at all and leaves zero impression. Its a shame as I was looking forward to something a bit different but the quality of the other ingredients more than makes up for it.The onion rings are amoung the best I’ve ever had, remaining crunchy throughtout the meal but the chips are extraordinary. Crispy, garnished with rosemary, coated in heavenly goodness and without a doubt the best chips in town.I would rate the burger 4/5 and the chips 5/5 but absolutely recommend both. Cross your fingers that you’re either in their delivery catchment area or thinking of going to Fulham some time soon!

Best burger in West London. Best burger in London and i’ve had them all, Byron, GBK, etc. The chips are fantastic as well. They are served with rosemary salt! Owner is a really nice guy as well.
