Labi’s Deli is a pretty cafe that serves great food at reasonable prices. I’m really at a loss as to why there are so many negative reviews on here!I would highly recommend their pasta dishes and breakfast pastries, which are very tasty. Their coffee is award winning, and rightly so! The decor is really nice and the atmosphere is good. Their staff are the friendliest in London and their food is absolutely wonderful.Labi’s Deli is great for casual meet ups with friends and, in my opinion, you are guaranteed a good dining experience!
I recommend the caf Americano at Labi. Always perfectly created and served with a smile. Food is fresh!! Staff very generous with loyalty rewards.
Being a local I really wanted to like this place and went back three times over the space of a few months despite having poor experiences on each visit. Basically the food it quite good but the service is terrible. The waiting staff themselves are fine but the kitchen seems to be really understaffed. If you go there at lunch time expect to wait about 45mins for your food, that has been my experience every time I’ve been there. Its a real shame that they seem to be trying to cut costs by under-staffing the kitchen because as I said, the food is decent once it actually arrives. I don’t plan to go back.
Not great. It’s overpriced considering you get cold food every time. I thought I’d give them a second chance but that was a mistake. They didn’t have hash browns and gave us mashed potatoes when we complained thinking we wouldn’t notice. Service is poor as they only have one waiter. When you pay the owner watches over you but doesn’t talk to you despite knowing you’ve had a bad experience. To top it all off someone shat themselves when I was in there and it smelt awful. Not what you want when you’re trying to eat. Never going back.
I have had positive experiences 2 out of the three times I have been here. When they get it right then it’s really good but I have seen them get it wrong with eggshell left in the egg, hash browns looking more like mash potato etc
Awful – been there twice since the refurb – on both occasions food was cold and items missing. Service ok – more a kitchen problem. Also – the owner stands around like a bouncer – strange
Poor all round, gave this place another try after their refurb, food and service is as bad as ever.
