After trying a slew of terrible Vietnamese restaurants in London I thought I’d give it one more go during a day out in Kensington. I ordered the pho tai (pho with rare beef) and shared the banh xeo (savoury pancake) with a friend. The broth, whilst not the best I’ve had, was still rich and flavourful. The banh xeo was crisp and delicious. However the brisket in my friend’s pho wasn’t the best quality. Wouldn’t go out of my way for this place but it’s not a bad option if you’re in the area.

Vietnamese out West. Having frequently eaten authentic Vietnamese food in the past, I have been looking for a new place to indulge in pho. Unfortunately the pho at Me me was lacking. The broth was too salty, but the ingredients were fresh. Service was good. I will, however, keep searching for the perfect pho in London.
