We were told that they serve the best aperol spritz here and many bus stops later were found in front of this gem of a place in Fulham. It was a sunny afternoon and we sat outside to enjoy the sun and our drinks. The drink was indeed refreshing and very good. The atmosphere was nice and we chilled for an hour before planning on another get together.Very much recommended.

I very much agree with the previous review. I never leave reviews but reading through this one, made me just HAVE too!! I moved to Fulham early this year, SHOT has been my last resort since I had a few uncomfortable incidents with the staff. To be honest, I have no idea why they still have people going there. And again agree, Chairs and Coffee is a much pleasant spot for friendly service and better quality coffee!
I first visited this caf around mid 2013, and as a local, I was very pleased to see a new business establishment around my area offering one of the things I love the most a well roasted, grounded and well prepared coffee! It was also great to have the chance to chat with one of the guys who run or started the place, or so he claimed. As we both seem to share same interest on Allpress. A coffee roaster or espresso specialist based in Shoreditch, who supply them their coffee and where I happened to regularly purchase my freshly grounded coffee for home! Shot Espresso Caf is a cool little place and has a very honest feel and sounds to its service, not to mention their great coffee! A place where I anticipated it to be frequented by young professionals who are passionate about coffee, like myself. Ever since then, each time I pass by this caf, normally on the weekends, I always prefer to get my coffee from here!Until, one specific situation happened late last year (2013) that completely changed all these good views I had about this caf. It was the usual rush hour as I was heading to work, when I decided to take the tube for a change and head to Fulham Broadway station. On my way, surely enough I passed by this (used to be my favourite) caf. I asked for a double espresso to take away, thinking of drinking it as I walk to the station. This slim and little tall dark-bearded guy (to be specific and who I always see behind the counter with another guy) simply told me that it’s not worth-it for him to prepare it and for me to consume it as a take away. I guess apart from the need of a caffeine, perhaps an unexpected joke is something people need sometimes first thing in the morning. But no, he wasn’t joking when I asked. He simply repeated it, ‘it’s not worth-it’. I saw the espresso paper cups on top of the coffee machine, which are surely for take-away and asked if he really was sure. And I got a simple yes with a straight face. His colleague seem to be unaffected by it and surely that sounds to me like it’s the rule of this caf.Sadly, yes sadly, as much as I always wish for any new and cool place to NOT to turn into a monster, but that seems to be the norm, sad to say. The sheer arrogance simply takes over the minds of these people. Maybe they become too deluded from the praises they get or hear from their clients that they forget about the service they have to deliver. They seem to have forgotten that a product always comes with a service that sums up the total image of the business and its brand. Great coffee with a shit service and attitude simply means shit coffee.Ever since this incident happened, I asked all my local friends in Fulham to shy away from this caf. And lastly, what these people don’t realise is that, in day of age of social network, stories get travelled quickly.FORTUNATELY! Just around the corner on Fulham Road, is a new caf called Chairs & Coffee! Although I’m still keeping my fingers crossed for this place to NOT to turn into such arrogant caf like Shot Espresso, but so far so good! Amazing coffee, as you would expect! But they couldn’t be more honest and down to earth with their service and attitude! So here you go Shot Espresso Caf, it’s only a block away for you to learn something beneficial to your business!
