It used to be good,not anymore. Good food, shameful service! They lost us as regular clients tonight after not once in the last 10 orders e’ve had food delivered as we’ve asked – they obviously don’t understand that if you hate coriander even a bit spoils your meal and it goes in the bin after you’ve paid for it and you’ve waited 1.5 hours . Took family from abroad there – disastrous night! Wouldn’t recommend at all
The food at Saregama is always of a good quality. The feel of the restaurant is a very happy, usually busy environment which normally makes up for the often slow service. The food normally makes up for the poor service but sometimes it verges on unbelievable. Like I said, great food, but don’t go for a ‘quick’ meal!
I have eaten here many times and have always had a great meal. It’s a very popular place in carshalton, and tends to be very busy in the evenings and especially at weekends, but we have always been able to get a table if we arrive without a reservation. The only downside is that the service is a bit slow at busy times but we’ve never minded.
