We are proud to be the Winner of CAMRA Cider pub of East Anglia 2018 & Essex pub of the year 2018!!The Woodbine is a multi award winning real Ale & Cider pub offering a Traditional pub experience & great homemade food sourced from local farms & suppliers, we make all of our dishes including our desserts and ice-creams! We have between 7-12 Ales mostly from local breweries (and our own micro brewery!) 40 Ciders & Perry's including London Glider Our newly acquired cider company! A selection of 20 gins as well as locally produced spirits including malts from the highlands of Chelmsford!! We have live bands playing Rock, Blues or Soul on Saturday nights, open mic acoustic night fortnightly on Wednesdays, Jazz with Catherin Lima on the 1st Friday of the month, Den & Dave (ex- Iron Maiden & Manfred Mann) play a monthly gig and a new monthly Comedy Club "The Barrel of Laughs" on the last Friday of each month. We also have traditional pub games, pool, bar billiards, shove ha penny & darts!
