Great Tapas. Friendly staff. A gem in this part of East London. We have been going to this restaurant for nearly 20 years – originally in Leytonstone and latterly in Wanstead. Absolutely fantastic food, intimate space and excellent service.
I’ve often seen this restaurant when passing. What a mistake. When my family entered we were greeted extremely warmly by the man in the picture. He was engaging and bubbly throughout. We picked tapas from the menu although the specials were explained to us. The food arrived really quickly. The portions were just right and were sufficient to give us all a taster of the 8 dishes we had ordered. Ordering extra was also no problem once we were under way. These also arrived quickly. We had the sardines, patatas bravas & alioli, calamari, anchovies (in vinegar), sauteed mushrooms, chorizo, chicken livers, stuffed courgettes and garlic prawns. All cooked to perfection. Makes me hungry just thinking about it. This excellent establishment is only two stops away for us, so we will be back quite often.
