The George is a lively place in the weekends with good weatherspoons priced drinks and deals. Generally a friendly crowd, with polite helpful bar staff. The food is standard chain pub fair, not awful but nothing to rave about. At the price you pay its perfectly acceptable. A good place to meet friends at the beginning of the night or for a quick catch up. It’s extremely child/family friendly during the day, and the menus and staff tolerance for little ones and their inability to sit still happily reflects this.
