  Excellent. Excellent restaurant good value for money and friendly service best to book as does get busy. Been going there with the family for years you cant beat it.

  Avoid if you value quality service. My friend booked a table at this restaurant for a group of six of us, when we arrived the restaurant seemed fairly busy and we were seated on some sofas. After 30 minutes of waiting and having to ask on several occasions if our table was ready with nobody giving us any clear indication as to whether are table was ready. Sometime later a waiter finally approached us after 45 minutes of waiting to tell us because we booked a table for 6 and only 5 of us came our table was given to someone else who had the correct amount and that we have to wait for another table to clear before we get seated, with no apologies or sincerity, we showed our disgust at the fact we had to wait 45 minutes for someone to tell us our table was given to someone else the waiter then became sarcastic and rude saying we need to learn to count and its not his problem so we all left, lucky for us there was a fine establishment just further down the high street called Cinnamon Spice which had fantastic service and food and we were actually glad we left Castle Balti.. Castle Balti may be one of only three Indian restaurants in a small busy tourist town but that is no excuse for appalling customer service. I dine at restaurants at least ones per week and have never experienced such poor services from a restaurant and will never step foot in Castle Balti.

  Good wholesome curry and can take your own drinks too. We had good friendly service too although did have to wait for a table as it was busy
