  As we are new to the area we thought wed try out this restaurant based on the Reviews. This is the worse Indian meal my husband and I have ever had. We ordered five dishes from the main course and only one was acceptable, the others were extremely bland. At the end of the meal (we left most of the food because it was just terrible) we spoke to the waiter and told him what we thought. He said hed ask the manager to come over, we waited approximately 10-15 minutes before he came, just shows how much he cared. When we spoke to him about the food not being flavoursome, he seemed to get the word flavoursome mixed up with spicy mmmm. I said no flavoursome is tasty not asking for spicy. His reply was if you told us at the beginning he would have made sure it was more spicy. He just did not get it, I told him all the food was bland, no flavour. I told him, I dont see why I should ask for good quality flavoursome (not particularly spicy) food this should always be standard practise I would have thought.We paid for our meal in full, was not looking for a reduction on the bill but tried giving them some constructive criticism, they just were not interested in the least. Would certainly not recommend this restaurant its just far too big. Personally I feel they need to have less customers and concentrate on giving better quality food.

  BEFORE YOU ENTER – DO ASK THE GUYS INSIDE IF THEY TREAT ASIAN/BROWN SKINNED PEOPLE ALL THE SAME This review is for mostly Asian customers/brown skinned customers. I went to this restaurant with my wife and 2 kids on Saturday after a good boat ride on Avon. I’m not a local so I relied on reviews. I hope Asian customers/brown skinned customers will find this useful. You will understand why I say this when you read my full review below. The food: 2 stars. Not authentic Indian food, all dishes were sweet and Kulcha was rubbery;The service: 1 star; I would give 0 honestly… The guys didn’t turn up to my table promptly compared to the other customers around me (generally white people). Kids were getting impatient due to the delays from waiters bearing in mind we were there at about 17:45 on a Saturday. I would assume it wouldn’t have been getting busy yet!!! We thought to go and I asked for the bill, I had to literally stand up and get one of the waiters’ attention. The waiter wasn’t keen to pack my food – we DON’T LIKE wasting food. The waiter kept asking me if I wanted to tip him (he called it gratuity), he prompted me for 4 to 5 time in less than 3 minutes. Oh, and he didn’t even bother to ask if we liked any mint. Forget it, I wasn’t keen to stay there for even a minute anyway. Obviously, I didn’t tip the guy for the CRAP service and the discrimination. @desi log – mat jao yahan pe khane keliye… agar koi gore ke sath jaa’oge tho they will notice you.Never going there again even recommend it to my gore pals…

  As good as it gets In Stratford. Probably the best Indian in the area – not birmingham standard but pretty good . Very pleasing ambience – lovely staff – reasonable prices

  They do a fixed price menu called dish dash dining which is good value. The food in general is above average and the staff are very polite and accomadating. The premises are spotless and parking good. If you want a good value Indian meal then look no further
