During our cruise, the boat had an accident that meant it could not complete the trip. Staff were very slow to communicate what had happened but eventually announced that we could not continue and must return directly to Stratford. However, the boat moored up part way back and everyone was asked to pay their bill. Only after we had paid did staff announce that we must leave the boat there and walk back to the start point. No provision was made for less mobile guests. Accidents happen, but the situation was not handled well by staff and subsequent communications with the company left me feeling that they did not appreciate my feedback. A small discount was offered on the day, which was eventually increased after exchanging several emails with the company.
