Disappointing. Was looking forward to eating at Sorrento’s. Described itself as a traditional family run Italian restaurant. I was expecting to taste some freshly made pasta. I could only find one ravioli dish on the menu which made me suspect that the pasta was not made on the premises. On speaking to the waitress she confirmed my suspicions that the pasta was not fresh. The menu was uninspiring which made me believe it has not been changed since 1984. Ordered the black risotto with seafood. Had potential but was over-seasoned with salt, shame. Perhaps ordering from the ‘A la Carte Menu’ would be better?Service was fairly attentive and friendly. Cozy sort of restaurant but the decor needs updating. There must be better Italian restaurants in Stratford upon Avon.

Excellent service and great food. A very Italian experience & a real treat. If there’s nothing you like on the menu, just ask for something else! Pasta is excellent as is the veal. The best Italian in Stratford. Recommended.
