Customer service is horrendous! They are so rude to customers on the phone and deny forgetting to place items in your collection bag. I will never go back to this restaurant. They used to be better but then suddenly increased all their prices. Not worth the money. Go to Prince of Persia instead..better environment and much nicer staff.

A terrible dining experience. My family and I, including guests from abroad, foolishly booked this place for a new years eve meal. Upon arriving at the restaurant we were not greeted warmly and were pointed to our table by a waitress from behind a counter. We ordered drinks and starters, then our starter arrived incomplete. We also waited 20+ minutes for our drinks (just coke ‘multi pack’ cans) which came when we had finished eating our starter. We ordered some kebabs for our mains, but when the chicken kebabs came they were completely raw inside – pink, wet and pale, definitely inedible. We complained and waited another 20 minutes for new kebabs whilst the rest of our party had to begin -and finish- their own meals. The replacements were still not great and we felt wary eating them. There were a few ‘apologies’. To pay at the end, we had to go to a counter where we did not receive a bill but were just told the price and given a receipt, which interestingly included a mandatory service charge judging by the final price, but again this was hard to tell as no actual bill was given – who knows what we were charged for!The real kicker was when we were leaving though was when a waitress (who looked like she might be the owner) – who had been eating her meal behind us in the mostly empty restaurant while we ate, told us she was sorry the chicken was too ‘juicy’ for our liking and that she would ‘try to remember’to make it well done for us in the future. We were utterly shocked and disgusted at her customer service, since when do you cook chicken rare? An apology at the end for the terrible food and terrible service might have saved them, but this backhanded comment was plain rude and we will not be returning to this establishment. If you are looking for tasty persian food, definitely look elsewhere!

Recommended by a friend for a full English breakfast (halal), and decided to visit Khatoon on Saturday morning. Lovely fry up, eggs, sausages, beans, bacon rashers (turkey), and grilled tomato. Restaurant started to fill up quickly, always a good sign. Recommend – 100%

The food was fantastic, I have tried many Persian restaurants but the quality and amount of this restaurant beats all the others by far. The staff are very friendly, this has become my favourite.

After a recent refit and name change to khatoon… Fantastic lift to the place. A lovely local eatery. I wouldn’t say it was the best Persian food I have eaten but good enough that I would go back regularly. Why? Tasty food and fantastic value for money The owner will go out of her way to provide off the menu dishes or drinks on request. It also offers a wide variety of desserts or milkshakes. Lovely family owned local restaurant that makes you feel like they know you when you walk in.

This nice persian restaurant has a character of its own, as you walk in it does not look like a traditional restaurant but a dessert bar with ice cream and cakes on display. It is hmc approved so peace of mind on the halaal authenticity. Staff was polite and helpful especially the manageress was very welcoming. Food was also fresh and tasty.
