Wonderful position in market square outside entrance to cathedral. Great for people watching. Coffee, tea and plum cake good. Sadly flapjack undercooked – crunchy crystallised sugar. Friendly and helpful staff.
Poor service, terrible coffee, still trading (just) on its great location. Why can’t a place like this use more imagination with menus and train staff to offer exceptional service? In short, don’t bother!
I have been in here twice & each time felt disappointed. The food is ok but the place feels claustrophobic & dark. I didn’t feel overly welcome.
Good value for money. excellent food and drinks. friendly staff who welcome you with a smile. I’m happy to say I will be visiting again
Popped in on a Saturday afternoon, very busy, but staff’s politeness and attention to detail was not affected. Had a lovely cake and cup of tea, really nice atmosphere. Will be sure to come again
