If you are looking for a decent curry in the Wells area – as another reviewer has suggested – try the Riverside Restaurant on the Wells / Glastonbury road. As a local, this is my favourite place to get a decent curry.
Posters indicate it will reopen as a Thai restaurant but no date specified. We passed by June 12. Alternatives for good curry in Wells area would be the Riverside on the Glastonbury road and the Cheddar Cottage in Cheddar.
I was very impressed with this place. Friendly staff and more importantly, absolutely delicious food, with a range available for those who don’t like it spicy. The tikka lamb was particularly delicious and the nan bread was better than any I’ve tasted before.
My wife and I both loved our meal here. I had king prawns with Keema and pasta. Totally new combination and an awesome flavour.Very good service
