Would never return, got order wrong and fish and chips was cooked in old oil. Didn’t eat it! No apology gentleman that took order disappeared! Wouldn’t return.
The steak was fantastic, my wife had fried prawns ant they were also fantastic ( tried one ?).Divinal quindim for dessert and a nice expresso to end a very good meal.
I am glad I found this restaurant before reading the reviews. I had an excellent dinner. Lovely said rice and fittings guarana Antarctica for drink. Family business owned by real Portuguese. I would love to come back and try the fish dishes. ???
I travel 2 hours to Bournemouth to eat here if you love your Portuguese traditional dishes from madiera and Portugal this is were to go .. friendly staff and good service ..And the wine and traditional drinks are so good .
Obnoxious owner and staff always outside smoking then dont wash hands afterwards avoid, not authentic fish and chips, if you want proper fish and chips go to Chez Fred in Westbourne
