We are a quality traditional English Chippy. As proud members of the Federation Of Fish Friers we serve sustainably sourced fish, our sausages are by our local butcher Axons of Didsbury, our pies are hand made by Bowen of Chorley and have won numerous awards, the steak pie has twice won the prestigious gold medal in the British Pie Awards ! We only use high oleic sunflower oil which is very low in both saturated fat and cholesterol, unlike the palm oil used in most other establishments, ours is healthy! We have dedicated friers for our chips as well as a separate frier for our vegetarian sausages and halloumi. As well as the traditional menu we also offer whitebait, salt and pepper squid and home made chicken goujons and nuggets. We are proud of of our food and always strive for the highest quality. We will soon expand our menu and offer a gluten free day. Come and try us out!
