Nothing is better on a Sunday than a good, old fashioned Sunday Pub Quiz. The King Edward without fail holds one at 8pm on a late Sunday Evening where you can enjoy a pint and rack your brains for that prime minister that was in charge for the First World War.The bar staff are really friendly and there is a nice, competitive atmosphere running through the pub when the quiz is on, so be prepared to bring your brain for a tough fight. I know that they server food here, I have never felt hungry enough to get a meal. Having seen my fellow quizzers Emmeline Wilcox and Sophie Allen struggle with a very large burger which was filled with God knows what.As a final note, I’d recommend this pub to any local looking for a good boozer and anyone that would like to have a crack at taking on the pub quiz.
