I loved the two varieties of fish curries (one with a coconut and raw mango base and the other with tamarid base), the beef ularthiyathu, the appam, and the porottas. It took me back to my home in Kerala. You always judge a restaurant by the classics they can cook, and the innovative dishes they can come up with. They have kept true to the classics and having spoken to them about the innovative dishes they are going to introduce in their menu, I have no doubt they will be the next big center for all food lovers.I will definitely be going back there again.

I am south-Indian food lover! I really like dosa. i ordered dosa and vada. It was amazing. But the service was a bit slow. I had to wait for 20 minutes.

Beautiful Food. I’m constantly amazed at how quiet this place is given the quality of the food, superb service and fantastic prices. Have been going here for over 15 years and if anything, the food is getting more delicious!Highly, highly recommended.

Should get more attention. Vijay’s, a couple of doors down, get’s talked about a lot more than Anjanaas. I like Vijay’s but think the food here just shades it, especially the MASSICVE masala dosas. Well worth a try

Heaven. You simply can’t beat this place for fabulous authentic Indian food, unbelievable value, impeccable service, it is an absolute gem. We’ve not eaten better and are always astounded by how delicious and varied the food is, and unlike most Indians it takes away brilliantly with no oily goo to fight through. Exceptional and faultless!31 Aug, 2012Anjanaas – JOY!. Having traveled throughout India I can hold hand on heart and claim that this is one of the most authentic Indian restaurants you’ll find in London. Charming service despite the slightly somber coloured walls- but hey, this is all about the food!!Remarkable dishes, each with distinctive flavour. Try this place once and you’ll be hooked. If you’re a fan of dosas too this really is a match made in heaven. Easy on the pocket and big on taste.ENJOY!
