Excellent for large group bookings!!. I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough! I recently made a very large booking (40 people) for a birthday dinner and from the time of booking right up until the end of the meal I received friendly and helpful service from all of the staff. It’s a family run restaurant and you’re made to feel very welcome and at home. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the set menu catered to everyone in our group – people that like/dislike spicy food, meat lovers and veggies. There is a large room perfect for group bookings of any size, everyone in my group has plans to go back! It was also great value for money and BYO which was a bonus. 10/10!
Absolutely Superb!. Got a takeaway from Ariana II. Arrived on time, as promised and the delivery guy was really friendly despite the arduous mission to get to my flat. The asuhak leek dumplings were delicious – so light and tasty, smothered in a lamb and lentil dal type sauce with yoghurt and herbs. Bolanee was crispy fried ‘turnover’ wth a sweet pumpkin filling. The Kabuli Pilau main was absolutely enormous, and stunning value for 9 (inc a whole tender lamb shank). Oh, and great, tangy chili sauce. Easily enough for two at a total of 16.
Dreadful. Got a take away after reading hype, etc. Worst value meal ever in London, virtually no meat just some sauce & rice, expensive, terrible value, feel like I was mugged. Never again :@(
Ariana kilburn. I had to visit this little new afghan place in kilburn which was much talked about and given a great review by Timeout. I was rather confused alittle to read 1 bad review about the place and wasn’t sure what to believe, all of this was changed when i tasted the great Kabuli Palou which was a lamb shank covered under brown rice topped with carrots raisons, pistachios and almonds and realised that TIMEOUT was right once again and that I had found my new favorite restaurant in London. would recommend it to anyone but watch out since there is a big crowd on weekends so you might have a wait. Service was great all the staff were helpfull and very attentive.
Terrible!!! Hated every moment. The place was packed and not everyone was getting served. The owner seemed very proud of his food so insisted to order our main course for us. Let me just say. It was over cooked. Too chewy and overall not what I expected for it to be as I have had afghan food and Ariana 2 is nothing compared to the other places. Not recommended!
Ariana 2… Arrived in a party of 4 on Sunday evening, the service was very prompt and friendly. We were unfamiliar with the menu so we opted for a meal for 4. Our waitress was very attentive and picked the dishes for us which were all Afghan The food was excellent and well worth the price, 50 for 4 highly recommended
