Small & Beautiful is one of those hidden gems in North London and my ultimate favourite date spot in the area. It’s cute and atmospheric with great service and even greater food, more than that it is amazing value for money. I would recommend the calzone for the biggest and most delicious folded pizza you have ever seen or eaten (but you often need extra sauce) or the schnitzel which comes with some amazing garlic brushed fried potatoes. It’s one of those dishes that is huge and yet you can’t stop eating because it’s SO GOOD. If you are in the area, you MUST visit. You can fill your belly (and your wine glass) for less than 15. That’s what I call a good date spot!

Well worth a visit. I had an excellent pizza the other day that was as good as any I have had in Italy and with a glass of decent house wine that came to 7.95. Quick service and charming and efficient staff. Admittedly I haven’t eaten off the pizza list (yet) but I find the negative reviews here a bit hard to credit.

Frozen food! Rude manager!. I just returned from a disastrous meal here where we waited for our starters for 25 minutes. The mussells came fo my partner which were ok but mine was crispy squid which was a pile of breadcrumbed bullets. They were hard and solid, the inside dried up rubber bands and obviously cooked from frozen. Having sent these back i thought i better order a ‘special’ instead, so 10 more minutes later the samosas appeared. at last i was starving. I took one bite and they were frozen inside! very special! ok forget the starter. The manager came, didn’t apologise just laughed and then argued. Mains came, my partner had goulash which was ok again, nothing more and i got one tiny fishcake and a plie of lettuce. Never again, what a waste of time. it’s cheap but not worth the poor standards or rudeness

Great place!. I took two musician friends (1 of whom is Parisian so presumably has high culinary standards) here at very short notice not knowing anything about the place – we were playing a gig up the road and needed something quick. What a pleasant surprise! We all went for the amazingly good value offer of 6 for a freshly made, very large and generously-topped pizza and a decent glass of house wine, all of which were of a standard you’d expect to pay a LOT more for. (think Firezza pizzas if you’ve ever been there and you’re on the right lines) Would recommend unhesitatingly.

Had read good reviews before going. Menu specials were hand written in pen on what looked like scrap paper from a secondary school pupil jotter. Not fitting with the decor. Service was not very welcoming. I had crab meat filled pepper. Disappointing as the crab meat was seafood stick so question how much actual crab was in there. Main I had puffy duck which was duck breasts roasted with leeks and herbs. Was very bland! Burnt edges to the pastry. Desert I had was from the specials board and was lumpy bumpy chocolate pie. Clearly was a bought desert from frozen supplier. The service was slow after the main course it took 20 minutes to be asked if we wanted to see a dessert menu. The waitress kept taking plates as people finished. I felt they should wait till all had finished. All in all I was very dissapointed.

Relaxed service, good food at a great price! Once, they were finishing up and the boss was on a break outside. He stubbed his fag, fired up the oven and made me a 5 pizza at 11pm without qualm!

Horrible. My meal was served cold and when I spoke to the waiter he insisted it wasn’t and would not take it back – horrible service average food.
