Came here for a quick bite but my brother. The beef and chicken is halal. I find chinese food is usually a little heavy and salty for me but it isn’t too bad here. Ambience is basic; oriental feel and seating is set up a bit like McDonald’s. Its a casual/ quick meal kind of place but feel free to bring your family down for a meal.Plently of seating. I can imagine it can get pretty busy in here. The staff was very helpful and service is pretty good. Food didn’t take too long to arrive. Brother ordered the beef noodle soup and I ordered the beef chow mein. Loads of flavour in the soup and chow mein. Beef was tasty and chewy too. Quite juicy. Soy sauce, salt and pepper come on the table.Recommend this place if you’re looking for halal chinese food. Not very easy to find halal chinese. Good value for money and great portions. You can also order and collect. 4*
Needed quick food before our cinema date and this place did not let us down. Growing up in a Chinese takeaway I tend to stay away from these sorts of places as the food just does not appeal to me. But this place was a fantastic treat and I was very impressed by the staff and food on offer. The negative reviews do not take into account how this place does not try to be more than a quick canteen style place instead I think they embrace and embody it perfectly. The menu is not something I was unfamiliar with but I was still happy with the amount on offer. I liked that they had a range of udon, vermicelli and ho fun and also some good staple rice dishes. The portions here are plentiful and the price makes it great value for money. This is not somewhere you go for a fancy dinner but definitely somewhere if you want cheap, simple service and well done food.
