This restaurant serves the most amazing Nihari that is to have in London. The lamb shank is fall-of-the-bones tender and the curry is outstanding with the right consistency and spice. The quantity is enough to share amongst 2 and enjoy this with crisp tandoori roti.This is true ‘soul food’; I always have a ‘nirvana’ feel after this – an unexplainable warm and cosy feeling.The other dishes are equally good, and I would specially recommend the kheer!!Restaurant has fast and courteous service, with good ambience.

The restaurant’s around and about London are not known for their Customer Service. And this joint was no exception. Seriously you ask for something and you can bet on the waiter coming back to ask you ‘what was it’ again? But as in most ‘desi’ joints what this joint lacked in CS it made up with its food. Everything tasted great but Nihari took the top seat. It was delicious specially with hot naans. Nice spacious outlet good for taking friends and family out.
The Nihaari & Paaya dishes are really delicious. Specially The Nihaari reminds me Javaid`s Nihaari Karachi which is the world famous Nihaari. I love it.
Absolutely loved the food. This was the second time we visited this place while vacationing in London and our craving for authentic desi food was fully satisfied. The Nihari is to die for, Korma is authetic while biryani was also good. Staff is also courteous and though the place is not that posh, hopefully with moving to the new location down the road will address this point as well. A must try for any true desi food connoisseur!!
I was surprised to discover this restaurant through a taxi driver. if you are fan of karachi food especially haleem and nihari this the place to must go and eatYou will forget most of the other places in White chapel – recommended strongly for these 2 dishes :)P.S its a dhaba kind of small outlet dont have expectation for fine dinning experience
From the very first year at University, me and my friends visited this restaurant in search of our homeland flavours and we found even better flavours here! Especially the Chicken Vindaloo will always hold a special place in my heart ! If you go here you need to try this dish and don’t forget to ask them to make it very very hot!!! The vindaloo tastes best with plain rice however we sometimes added their speciality Biriyani which is as good as it gets in London from me !!!
