OMG… so where do i start with this ‘hell hole’ … very very very bad customer service, they NEVER answer their telephone to place orders (A big loss for them for starters), the man and women servers are ALWAYS moody, rude and never get the order right, never give a smile or even acknowledge that you have walked into their shop and are waiting to place an order… only God knows how they have lasted so long, i’m taking its loyal customers who don’t want to hurt feelings, like close friends and family.I agree with the previous review, very dry gone off meat?! beef was rubbery (always – I’vegiven them a few chances now as I live locally) oxtail never has meat just pure gristle and bone, 1 dry Potatoe and 1 plantain if ur lucky and over greasy pasta. I tell you from now, don’t waste your money, I can’t believe the cheekthey have upped their prices another 50p – must be to make up for lost customers or something its not worth it, anyone travelling or out of town wouldn’t have a clue this place is a big NO NO now.Go across the road to Delly’s, friendly service always answer your phone, ok the shop is small but the food is reasonable the menu is VAST! and your guaranteed succulent meat, tender and on point. (I am local and have seen tickle me go dowwwnnnhill over the years, I’ve given them chance after chance by buying food from them it is such a shame – they ain’tgetting my money again).
The most disgraceful experience ever!!! 7.50 for a large foil skinny container of stale beef steak so dry and stiff really dark pieces of chopped meat dont know when it was really cooked I would not recommend moving onto the old gone off smelling basmati clumps that they call rice and poisening kidney beans one dry aunt bessies frozen packet potatoes deep fried when the packet says oven only and one raw rubber plantain deep fried in a rush and some pasta covered in meat oil, within 5 hours of picking at this food my stomach started bubbling up and out of nowhere I was vomiting non stop am so sad I had to go through that I will never try an go there!
