Can be busy at peak times and chairs/stools make a dreadful noise as they are scraped across the floor to gain access to seating, but coffee/cakes/snacks good and served pleasantly.
Food is bland and average at best, very over priced for the quality and amount you get. Cakes often dried out and always the same.
Pale, bland, cold and barely seen a griil. Really hard to describe the pityful attempt at a bacon roll. The coffee was disgusting and the apparent organic bacon was a waste of time. Photos don’t really do it justice.Never again.
Visit this cafe quite regularly and we always get good customer service from friendly staff. The cakes are fresh With a wide range of choices and excellent quality. The hot drinks are also great. Always clean and tidy as well. What’s not to like.
Popped in to John Lewis for some bits and fancied a cuppa so we had toast and tea. The toast was hot, there was enough butter for all, the service was fantastic, all in all a lovely experience which we shall be repeating soon!
