I’m a big fan of TGI in general but a good few years back now it lost its individual charm and embraced the mass market chain food style with open arms. The branches in London seem to care quite well still, however this branch does not. No matter how many times we forget our last terrible experience and try it once more to see if it is any better, it never surprises us in a good way. The staff aren’t the problem, it’s the plasticy, warm, mass manufactured, microwaves food. For some reason lakeside always seems worse than other branches…. Even nearby blue water. My advice is if you really want a TGI go to London.
