We wandered over to Maida Vale somewhat spontaneously (from Angel, so very spontaneously I guess) and ended up here. Pleasantly busy but not over the top. The outdoor seating was understandably full (on one of London 2k15’s rare summer days) but the inside was comfortable. We were sat next to the bar and couldn’t help but notice how unpleasant it smelled from time to time – diagonal relationship to the toilet was a slight mistake? Also our pitcher of Pimms was tasty but very much watered (or lemonaded) down, which was also a bit disappointing.It was relaxed, and I’d come back here for a pint, but I’m sure the area has more to offer!
