  Casamia never ever disappoints. It delivers on all fronts: the food is quite remarkable with the simple description of each course on the menu belying the beauty, complexity and depth of flavours in each one; the service is second to none; the new location at The General is very different to Westbury-on-Trym but really suits the elevated status of the restaurant. People of Bristol, we are incredibly fortunate to have this on our doorstep.

  Raymond Youaeph. We went to Cassamia on Wednesday were there for four hours, and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The food was excellent, service the same and the atmosphere was very comfortable. I will definitely go back. I did not leave a tip because I didn’t take notice of the screen on card machine. But I will go back to pay my debt, the service was excellent.

  My husband and I ate here mid-week to celebrate his 40th birthday. The food was delicious – all autumn-themed (this was back in October) and smoky. Even the strangest combinations (smoked apple juice with bay leaf foam, and mushroom fudge, I’m looking at you both) we’re expertly balanced and delicious, not weird ideas paired for shock value alone. The portions were fine for a tasting menu, and the staff were friendly if not always attentive. They were very enthusiastic about the food and wine, though the wine waiter chatted for so long at times I worried about my food getting cold (it wasn’t). I would definitely go back there for a special occasion.

  Good. Contrary to the feedback on some websites, the food was good.. service wasn’t superb, but it was reasonable.. There is only the set menu.. One has a choice of an additional 2 courses and/or cheese for an additional charge. Certainly one of the better restaurant in bristol//
