I used to live nearby this place and in those 4 months, never went – shame on me!It wasn’t I went to my friends and we needed a place for lunch – FAST. It was an easy and right choice. I would have never picked this place on my own. But my friend said it went once and had a great meal.The service was great and the food was yummy! We started with Antipasti and we had bruschetta and deep fried mozzarella really a good start. Our pastas were just as delicious. I ordered the spaghetti with broccoli ! Sooo good! My friend ordered linguine con tonno. Both servings were plentiful and delectable. The prices were on point, too. A lovely place.
Halal Accreditation! Visited on friday evening. Called restaurant twice to enquire if halal. Was informed it is, however felt unsure. Being local we walked that evening to restaurant, a waiter came over to seat us I enquired if they were halal he simply said yes and handed us a menu, and walked off. There was nothing on the menu. I was then seen by a female waitress who was helpful and kindly showed me a certificate, well done to her! We enjoyed a lovely meal, tasty and good quality. Cocorico has a nice retro modern calm relaxing feel to it, clean and a open kitchen great! I would highly recommend it. Was nice to see a day later the website has been updated to show chicken as halal. Well done for taking note Cocorico.
I happened to be in Whetstone last week and found this incredible Italian restaurant! The ambiance is very chilled out and relaxed. I absolutely loved the starters and the Marbella was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised to have such good quality food in Whetstone! Will definitely come back again and try dishes on the menu. The platters look amazing as well 🙂 Ideal place to go with friends to chill out!
We went out for dinner on Friday evening and found the service and food to be good. HOWEVER, all three of us spent the weekend with abdominal cramps and diarrhea. No solid evidence to link it to our meal, but can’t think of any other common factor! Very disappointing, particularly since we all found the food to be tasty, good value and the service better than average. Shame…..
Myself and my family went to cocoricos trying to support a local independent restaurant, unfortunately the service we received was so terrible, it wasnt just a case of a small hiccups, but a terrible evening all in all. Ive listed below the reasons why@We were not greeted in to say helloThere was a dustbin in the middle of the restaurant throughout (makes you question hygene)There were two surprise desserts added onto our billWe waited over an hour after our starter for our main meals to arrive.which were the wrong order anyway.
Shabby service cold food. The waitress tried to impress by saying they were owned by someone who managed another local restaurant. Really don’t bother. You fail on every level
We went on Saturday 10th and and and have never witnessed such poor food hygiene. The kitchen is open with the restaurant and we saw the chef suck and lick his fingers then plate up customers food. We saw a waiter pick up a dish from the pass and stick his fingers in a customers bowl of chips, eat one, then take the rest of the plate to the customers table. We saw a waitress open one of the fridge doors and help herself to food, then continue serving. To top it all off we were served RAW chicken. If you value your health do not eat here.
