I joined family here for a mid week dinner. They’re regular visitors to Izgara and we got a warm welcome from the team on the floor. Service was friendly and the food was good. A vegetarian mousakka was delicious as was a simple dish of grilled salmon. The fish kebabs were huge. All in all a great local restaurant that does what it does very well indeed.
Being here on a monday when most of restaurants are closed. Nice and comfortable space. We had humous kavurma for entry, ali nazik (photo) & yogurtlu lamb shish. The humous is good but would choose without the lamb. The main dishes were both really well cooked. The difference is that the ali nazik includes aubergine and the lamb shish comes with croutons. Recommend a visit

Great food at reasonable prices. Been going regularly ever since it opened some years ago. Have taken lots of friends who always want to go back. Fresh mezes, beautifully grilled lamb and chicken plus very friendly service and all at reasonable prices. About 20 per head for starter, main course a drink and coffee. Gets busy so best to book.

NO, just do even bother, go next door to The Lantern – MUCH better and alot cheaper!!!
