Called in on walk from sandsend for coffee and spot of lunch. we were charged for two coffees which they refunded later (without hassle) my main course arrived incorrect but changed in quick time. nice enough, but check your change. Would still go back though.
If you climb the steps up to the Abbey which most visitors do, don’t miss making a stop at this very friendly and well run YHA cafe. You won’t be disappointed.
Really good café with a good range of choices for lunch that managed to suit seven of us with widely varying tastes. Food was good, drinks were hot and prices weren’t at all bad.
