First time coming here. Because of all the good review me and my family decided to come here for my sisters birthday. The food was extremely dry, not the best and definitely not worth the price (even though we ended up getting it discounted). I ordered lahmachun for starters and it was not fresh and stale like and seemed as if it was reheated just to be served. The waiters were hard to get hold of and they several times did not respond to our needs after we requested them. My sisters food did not arrive on time even though she multiple times clarified what she wanted to the waiter. By the time the rest of us were finishing off our food we realised that her food weren’t going to come at all. After several times calling and waiting for the waiter, he finally came to our attention and it turned out that the waiter did not even order the food and he had the cheeks to lie (by saying that my sister didn’t order it) and brush it off.Bad first time experience, poor customer service and definitely not coming here again.

One of the busiest restaurants I’ve been to in a long while so make a reservation! The grills are tender, tasty and well priced for London. If you like grills you MUST dine here. The ventilation needs improving because the entire restaurant smells like an grill. The menu is a mix of Arabic, Turkish & Indian. Definitely will go back again when I am in London next.

Worst restaurant in the world. Worst service and food is disgusting. I been here twice and both times have received horrible, moody service. The time frame between 2 visits were roughly 2 years apart and the service was really bad and food horrible.

We went back here yesterday for lunch as we had previously gone and enjoyed both food and service. We found the service provided had deteriorated and was now very bad. We ordered our food starter and main and requested tap water. We asked for tap water another 3 times, both starter and mains were served but the water was not served. Only when we ordered coke was the water served and then the coke. After paying the bill we requested to speak to the manager and waited more than 5 minutes and was ignored, when I went up and complained to the manager I was brushed off. The food also was not as good as previously experienced, we had the calamari it was not as nice, and mixed grill, and found the chops to be tasteless and tough. We will not be going back to this restaurant.

This was my first experience with Turkish cuisine that too in a foreign land. So I tried to play safe and ordered only familiar names that too only related to chicken. During the course a British friend asked me to try other dishes. I hesitantly tried a dish called Lahmacun which was basically a lamb dish. I could not believe that it was much tastier than the dishes I had ordered. As we were a large group I on my own started trying dishes of others. I do not remember the names of all those dishes but lamb dishes were much tastier. This is not a place vegetarians.

Always had good service at Maedah Grill, they have open seatings and cubicle ones, plus they have boards for Niqabi’s which really helps, the food is really nice, calm and quite place regardless how busy it is, do recommend it.

Lovely Turkish food right across East London Mosque in Whitechapel. The food is very moderately priced and absolutely tasty. The service is quick and friendly even if the place is packed. If you’re in the neighbourhood give this one a try if you are lusting for a lot of meat at great prices. However, this place doesn’t serve any alcohol and there’s sadly no byob-concept.
