Amazing ice cream. We’ve been several times – usually as a very occasional treat for dinner – but latest visit was for the early evening lounge menu. Best remembered dish is the turkish delight ice cream for pudding – excellent! Food varies from merely good to truly outstanding and the decor and atmosphere is too. Not found too many places would bother recommending in this part of the world for food, but Gimbals is really worth (re)visiting.

Had a fantastic meal with friends last weekend. Food was cooked perfectly, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The menu was varied and very interesting. Desserts are well worth having. It’s not cheap (30-40 per head incl wine), but well worth it for a special night out.
You can hear the sea!!!. All I can say is check the sea shell basin in the bathroom. this place is awesome, just awesome.best in sowerby bridge by far and away, you need to try it.I like loads you know, aiiiii!
