A busy Saturday evening. The food was absolutely delicious. My only criticism was that the service was a little too efficient, and quick. We would have liked to enjoy our aperitif before the starter arrived, and had time to consider the wine list. In total we were there 1.5 hours which isn’t long to consume 3 courses although we did linger over coffee. Top marks if the service had been a little more relaxed, but the staff were lovely.
I have been here on several occasions. Each time Ive had a different experience. It’s a busy bustling restaurant that has been popular since the day it opened. My family and I went there on Sunday for lunch. The restaurant was busy and quite loud! We were placed beside the open kitchen. We were given menus and left to it. After awhile we asked if we could order a drink! We were gasping!! We made our choices, the waiter came and my poor mum had a hard time in ordering. Everything she wanted they no longer had! I found this unacceptable, if a restaurant has run out of certain items on the menu, salmon, chicken to name a few you should be told on arrival when given your menu. However, the food we did order, and thoroughly enjoyed it. My prawn pil pil was delicious and hot. My mums soup was huge and very tasty she said. This restaurant is clearly popular within the area, however I do believe they have a few issues to iron out, if they want to stand out in the crowd.
