The pani puri was delicious, so full of flavour. We then had the gobi manchurian, the flavour was a little unusual and there was more batter than cauliflower. My boyfriend (who is from bangalore) said that the taste was not authentic or what he would have had back home. However, all was redeemed with the main – masala dosa with idly and vada. Delicious, authentic and huge portions! Great value. Would definitely come again.

Food- 3.5Ambience- 3Service- 4 Cost- 4As the name suggests, they make good Dosas in Manchester. Can’t compare to the proper Indian taste of Dosas though but if you are longing for a Dosa you can visit this place. I wouldn’t visit this place again though.

Disappointed..heard rave reviews about the place…dosa was OK..the chutney passable and the sambar okish..don’t know what the fuss is about this place…unfortunately yet to encounter a genuine south Indian place in Manchester unlike London and Birmingham

Though i am not a big fan of south indian food but i wanted to try it in manchester. I was a bit dubious to try dosa express but once i was there everything was fantastic. the food is great, the dishes are mouth watering and the chutney’s complement the courses really well . the best thing about the place is the quantity of food at such cheap prices .. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all south indian food lovers 🙂

Dosa lovers, this is your place. Small cost restaurant with a wide variety of dosas. Also try the chicken curry and paratha.

Awesome food … The masala Dosa is really crispy and worth the money

Expensive for what I had. I was intrigued by dosaxpress so went there for lunch today. I had no idea what to order so went for a special mutton vindalo and a dosa beginning with chet or something. The waiter was not that helpful mainly through inexperience I think but I ordered the above with rice and a lassi. the tray came with the dosa – little more than a pancake and a small dish of vindalo. No rice. The food was nice but there was not much of it and I certainly still felt hungary after paying nearly 12. Dont think I will be rushing back
