We come to the Basset quite a lot and we went on Sunday for my birthday. Even though it was busy, the food was absolutely gorgeous-the roast lamb was great and the steaks were fab-and the service was brilliant!! Highly recommend!

We took our dad’s funeral party of 30 people to this pub from Landican Cemetery. It was just the right place to remember dad with love and laughter. The food was good, the rooms were delightful and the atmosphere perfect. We were in good hands.
My wife and I had sunday lunch ( trio roast) .it was delicious and there was tons on the plate . The wine and beer was lovely too. The staff where really nice ,helpful and polite and very accommodating. Highly recommend
