None better. The best Lamb Rhogan Josh. The owner is the ideal host. The location is unique and the client mix superb. I recently dined between a big party with David Milliband and an equally large gathering of students. Open late. Closed Mondays. It’s really all you could ask for and if you do, they’ll bring it, with respect. I live in Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire. I am a Leeds University graduate. So is my son. We all love Akmals, north or south of Watford.
Awful, Dirty, No standards. I would never go to this place again. The waiter is the most miserable person I have ever had the misfortune to meet who carries no personality, manners nor knows how to dress smart, the owner needs to learn how to wash his hands after he empties the trash outside before he starts carrying food to table and handling your naan breads etc. I can only presume that they rely on the student population in that area who’s stands may differ from others. I would honestly advise you to go elswhere.
