Amazing Chinese food in the heart of Leeds!. Came here with the family on numerous occasions, and even being a picky Asian foodie myself, I honestly love the food, prices and service here. I think it’s quite unbelievable that there’s such a good and honest Chinese restaurant in Leeds, and would highly recommend this to anyone who fancies authentic Chinese!19 Dec, 2014Amazing szechuan restaurant in the heart of Leeds. Being Chinese and coming from Melbourne, I didn’t expect to find any decent Chinese restaurant in Leeds.. but this place totally knocked my socks off! not just in terms of taste, but also value! will definitely come back next time
An average restaurant?. I went once, and that was enough for me. Perhaps it was a bad day, but the food I had was average at best, Nothing like the superlatives expressed by some of reviews here. I eat ‘Chinese’ (szechuan, cantonese etc) often. I’ve lived in HK for several years and I travel to mainland China regularly. Some of the most amazing food I’ve had was in Xiamen. Red Chili is nothing special in my book.
A taste of brilliance the painter daiphu was excellent and the flavours shone through 10/10
Sham. This restaurant did have very authentic mainland chinese food when it opened a few years back but for my last 2 visits food quality has taken a turn for the worst.Sorry!
Authentic. Have been several times with friends from Japan, HK, and the UK. All think very good, and authentic cuisine!
Fantastic and different. Not your run of the mill Chinese restaurant! Excellent menu. go for the unusual, you wont be disappointed. Try the Beijing Aubergine… Pronominal!
Expensive for a Chinese but not unreasonable – fantastic food, definite cut above your usual sweet & sour and chop suey. Try some of the more unusual items on the menu – they are well worth it!
