I landed up at Hampton by Hilton and found this place next door. Presenting myself with my son at 7.30 pm for dinner I was told they were overbooked until 9.30 pm. I couldnt help but wonder if it was about racial profiling and just keeping a couple of Indian faces out of the local white crowd. I ignored and came back a couple of hours later. Spaghetti Carbonara- wow. Completely tasteless. I felt a part of my favourite country ie Italy was wiped off my existence. It was topped by a cheesecake which was more of a mud pie. I have lived in the UK in the worst era for the outsiders and see the blatant racism was taken over by a subdued and grumbling one. With Brexit they have dissociated from the finest European cuisine as well. Italian, Chinese and Indian are the three bright stars of international cuisine. The latter two are holding away as English cant pretend to be either. I feel sorry for the Italian which got usurped by its skin colour.
