It used to be great… not any more!. I have taken many friends to the Massalla lounge, a great combination of service and food. I’ve taken people for parties, for meals after watching the Warriors and just more intimate meals, and it had always been so good.NOW, I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND I HAVE TOLD ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!I had a takeaway and ordered a set menu, I had never had the set menu before. If you collect you get a 20% discount which I had taken advantage off many times. This time when I arrived to collect and pay for my food they refused to take the 20% off saying that it had been deducted off the cost of the set meal. I queried this, that meant I wasted my time picking it up, they should have just delivered it. At this point the brought my food down from the kitchen. I said the takeaway menu states 20% off collected orders, it make NO exclusions for anything. He told me it was not the restaurants ‘job’ to tell me it didn’t apply I should have asked. WHY THE FK SHOULD I HAVE TO ASK WHEN THE MENU STATES A CARPET 20% OFF COLLECTED ORDERS???At this point I told him if I didn’t get the 20% off then my hard earned cash and me would be walking out without the food. He replied ‘We don’t need your custom MATE’. WTF!!!Well fella, you haven’t ‘just’ lost by custom ‘MATE’. I know a hell of a lot of people in this city where I have lived all my life, and they ALL KNOW ABOUT YOUR IDEA OFF CUSTOMER SERVICE.For the sake of 4 discount, you have lost a lot of customers MATE.
Average food average service. been three times with different groups of people and its been consistently…….average!
Miss tracy lewis. Went there this week on a girly night out had meal was the best indian iv had in a long time the starter was amazing so was main as for the cheese garlic naan lovely.dips with popadoms lush and excilent service and food was out on time was happy to leave a tip will be going back again and would recommend this restaurant to everyone

Wasn’t the best experience I had at an Indian. Few weeks after my visit last time I was in Worcester I had read in the local paper that they had nearly killed someone by giving them a curry which contained nut traces even though they stressed that it didn’t contain any. I have been recently and to be honest it wasstill the same as I tried before. Disapointed. Won’t rush back again.
Food quality not good, unhelpfull staff. Slow service we went in a quite night starters took one to arrive after order and was cold. When complained waiter took it away microwaved it and made the tikka chewy. Won’t be in a rush to go back.
This restaurant tries to be something it’s not. I was bitterly disappointed and I won’t be going their again. The worst restaurant I have ever been to – honestly don’t bother going.
