  I used to call in for lunch quite often, fairly priced, nice food and pleasant staff.

  Gone down hill. When this restaurant opened, definatley the best in Barnsley. unfortunatley they have got rather greedy. when we first started going we order steak which was served with a tomato, mushroom and onion rings, we would be presented with a tourine of homemade chips, a tourine of veg and also roast and new potatoes, when we went in may of this year, we recieved our steak, with half a carrot and a courgette. when the veg came it was more carrot and corgette and a bowl of chips, between 2. I asked if that was all the veg they had and he replied madam these are the veg of the season, we spent around 400 that night, and we were basically pushed out at the end of the night, Last week we went with a party of 8, we got our steak with a very small portion of overcooked veg on our plate and a bowl of frozen chips between4. when i asked where the veg was he said that was it. i asked for more chips and i cant believe he took them from our friends at the end of the table and gave them to us. we paid 300 between 10 of us. we wont be returning.

  Absolutley fantastic. I haven’t actually eaten here, but I was next door in Chilli and you can order from the steakhouse menu in there. The steak was cooked perfectly. The waiting staff were attentive and no request took longer than a couple of minutes. A party of 10 with starters, mains and drinks came to around 250. Recommended.
